What is FS Bali Gold?
Most vendors market red vein kratom that has been dried in the sun as Bali gold. UV light bleaches the green chlorophyll which turns the leaf from green to brown. UV light destroys mitragynine and other important alkaloids just as quickly. Sun drying causes the wet underneath leaves to ferment in scorching temperatures. Heat and fermentation destroy kratom alkaloids.
Don’t be confused or expect to see a golden/brown coloured powder. FS Bali Kratom is the most beautiful colour of green, it is milled to 500 micron super fine powder and has the most wonderful fresh fragrance. I received the FS Bali Gold on the 11th August 2021 and I have been taking it for the past few days(to help taper myself of opiates (250mg Codeine Per Day). Now after taking it I do not have the need or cravings to take opiates at all and have not taken any Codeine since I received the Kratom which is great but I’m afraid that I will become addicted to Kratom instead and have withdrawals when stopping it.
I weigh 68kg and I’m 5ft8 I found that the dosage of 6g in the morning at 8:30am works well for me before I start work but after taking it I feel a slight euphoria similar to opiates but not exactly and a I feel a slight tightness in my chest area around 1 hours after taking it which will last anywhere between 30 mins to an hour or so. Some days I feel like I have to re-dose again at around 5pm with another 6g as I start to get cravings and having restless leg syndrome. I mix the power with water, stir and then I down it followed by a just a small glass of water to chase it.
Would you say I’m taking too much? I am only 4 days in and its also 4 days without any Codeine which I’m so happy about! But I’m worried that I am trading one substance for another. I understand you are may or may not be a doctor but when would you say I start tapering down and how quickly to have minimal withdrawals and I hope not to get post-acute withdrawals syndrome.
I understand that this is a loaded review so my apologies but I just have a few concerns. Your products thus far are really helping me out so a big thank you!

This is a very valid question which I’m asked regularly. I’m really happy to hear the Bali Gold is working for you and you have been able to quit codeine from day one. I would personally taper from the codeine over 1 week and fill in the gaps with a small dose of kratom. It is very encouraging that you are on day 4 and not needed to use codeine. If this is working for you then stick with it, do not go back to the codeine.
Kratom addiction is possible but nowhere near as brutal as with opiate addictions. In laymen’s terms, studies show that kratom has a high affinity to bind to the kappa and delta receptors and a low affinity binding to the Mu opioid receptor. Opiates have a strong affinity to bind to the Mu opioid receptor and low affinity to the kappa and delta. Any drug that has a high affinity to the Mu opioid receptor is going to be highly addictive with severe withdrawal symptoms. Kratom alkaloids bind to the kappa and delta receptors. These receptors are the reason why so many users testimonials say it is barley or non-addictive when they take a break or decide to stop.
There is no real dosage guide as we are all different. Dose is dependent upon body weight, tolerance to other meds, metabolism and many other factors. As a rule of thumb, I calculate 1g per 20kg of body weight but I always start with 1 level tsp (2g) to evaluate the effects.
If I weighed 68kg I would calculate 3.4g starting dose. I would try to cut back to 2 level tsps. (4g) per dose. Monitor the codeine withdrawals and when necessary I would repeat the dose. I time how long a dose lasts and calculate the least amount of kratom that is required to function normally.
I’d continue for 14 days managing the withdrawals with the kratom. After 14 days of not using codeine I’d taper off the kratom i.e. Reduce my kratom dosage and increase the length of time between each dose. Once I’m down to 1 dose per day I know the worst of the codeine addiction is over. Use kratom every other day and stop using when you know the time is right.
There is no set time limit to come off any addictive substance, if you can do it in 5 days using kratom, well done! Listen to what your body is telling you and work with it responsibly. We are not in the business of trading one addiction with another. We are here to help you achieve your personal goals then stop using kratom. That is a success story.

Thanks for the very informative response
Today is day 10 without any Codeine and I feel amazing (apart from the hour or 2 after when I get a tight chest, heart palpitations and little pain) I still feel like I have to take a second dose, which I have been doing for the last week or so now at 5 grams each time. I will drop it down to 4 grams next week. Once I feel like I only need one dose per day I think I will need to do a very, very slow taper, I mean maybe drop by 0.25mg per week.
Right now if I take 5 grams in the morning at half past 7 it can last me 10-12 hours then I begin to get cravings but they are not as strong and it’s the only symptom I get. As mentioned before I take a second dose anyway to ensure I don’t reach for the codeine. I can feel that I’m improving each day so hopefully soon I can go with some days with taking just one dose. When I feel stable on that does (possibly 4g is my aim) for a while I will begin my slow taper.
I only have a scale that measures to the nearest gram therefore I could be taking 5.5g one day and 5.2g another. Would there be a scale you would recommend or just any that can measure to mg would do?
My last question is, I mix the powder with cold tap water, stir the hell out of it then down it (although I really don’t mind the taste and texture of it). Would you recommend a more effective way to prepare it and would you say taking it on an empty stomach is better?
Once I have gotten out of withdrawals and do not have to take it every day, I will defiantly try your other strains out!.

Yes, I’m well thanks and I really appreciate the update on your progress. 10 days is one hell of an achievement, congratulations. The tight chest is slightly concerning and could suggest your dosage is higher than it needs to be. I would try reducing the dose and dose more often (if needed) to see if that works for the tight chest? As long as you are healthy and don’t have any existing heart conditions you should be able to tolerate the temporary side effects. With that said, never use kratom if there are undesired side effects. As far as tapering, do it at your own speed, you will know when the time is right.
Please let me know how things go with 4g, as I said earlier, I’d rather there be no side effects even if you have to dose more often. It is good to know you physically feel an improvement each day, stick with the program and don’t reach out for the codeine.
You could buy some jewellery scales but I don’t think it’s a necessary expense. Invest your money on a cheap teaspoon scoop. 1 level tsp is 2g of powder, this is how I measure and its pretty accurate.
You can mix it with cold water but it does take a lot more effort than needed. A good idea is to boil the kettle. Mix the powder and boiling water together in a cup. It mixes very easily and also extracts the powder which allows for a quicker onset. Lemon also helps the extraction and you can add honey for some sweetness. Just wait for it to cool and enjoy! Taking kratom on an empty stomach allows for a much quicker onset. Sometimes a feeling of nausea is experienced, eat some food and that will stop the nausea and balance the stomach acid.

First time buying the FS Bali Gold and it’s exactly as described. Really great for pain but also very much recommend for stress & anxiety. I would say it’s definitely more of an evening blend. I make it into tea and add a squeeze of lemon, which strengthens it even more. If you’re a new user, probably best to start with 2 – 3g and see how you go. As usual, delivery so quick and secure.

An excellent must-have Red Vein. I take this daily, along with the Red Indo, and find it excellent for pain relief, and dealing with stress/anxiety. I like to mix and switch the strains a bit, and this goes well with White Sunda in the morning (the white adds extra energy, and pain relief) – and is great on its own during the afternoon.
I find the Red Indo slightly better for pain relief, and increased energy, but find this better for stress, or panic attacks. As with most reds, I find it best avoided near bedtime, unless it’s mixed with a Green Vein.

Guys I can see that I’m the only who’s blaming this strain but for me it’s the weakest of all the available strains on this website. I’ve tried almost all the strains and I absolutely love their greens but this one gives me close to nothing in terms of relaxation or painkilling or euphoria. Might be bad batch but it is what it is.

It changed, my first orders of Bali Gold were actually labelled Bali Red, in 250g bags, they were tremendously strong, so much so that before I adjusted the dose I had extreme vomiting and nausea. The latest bags which are labelled Gold are much weaker, I guess it’s just variability of the active ingredient

I left a review on this strain a few weeks ago and basically it said that this strain didn’t do anything for me, I didn’t feel it at all. After that I contacted my dearest Franz and found out about the new batch that is bang on according to the lab tests! I, of course, couldn’t wait to try it out and let me tell ya, as soon as I drank the sludge, there was nothing that could bother me anymore. I really like Bali gold. it’s a nice relaxing strain I relapsed with alcohol so that was a bit of a blow. But it’s okay one day instead of everyday is hardly something to beat myself up for. I’m making progress and that’s the main thing. I feel like Kratom is a good way to help myself without getting in over my head like I’m prone to do. I had quite a lot of the Bali gold to feel the effects but I’m quite an energetic person in the worst way possible 😆. No motivation and energy that goes absolutely no where. I took my gold Bali throughout the day and found myself yawning ! Big sucsess as I’m an insomniac lol! I slept well that night which is brill as I’m usually having melatonin every night and it’s really not great to take it ALL the time. Your brain gets to used to it meaning it doesn’t produce melatonin very well without it :/ also you need higher doses… so with the gold Bali I may be able to repair the damage I’ve done with years of melatonin use. Here’s hoping :,). I Had to go to an event which I usually have trouble with. I can’t bare being around people !!! The gold Bali helped me relax and I didn’t have any heart palpitations. I’m usually so on edge but this time I was able to cope. Gold Bali is nice for calming down and settling nicely into the night 🙂 I’ve already finished my first sample pack. I’ve abused alcohol and drugs most of my life so I’m happy to find a healthy alternative. Kratom is a little on the pricey side but we’ll worth it’s buck. I think I’ll make a hot chocolate tonight with some gold Bali in. I normally can’t really focas on films but I enjoyed watching a few with my gold Bali in hand. Id say it’s a good one for anxiety / sleep / relaxation:) very happy as always with KUK. I’m not sure how I found it but glad I did. This may be an age thing but I suffer with a lot of back pain & restless legs. I spent years taking opiates which in the end made things worse. This strain I find is more pleasant to take than some, its slower to react but the affect lasts longer than others and I get a good nights sleep providing I get the dosage right. If I take it at 11.00pm. or later it will last until 7.0am. mitragynine is the only chemical that stops my restless legs. For me this stuff is a life improver, its expensive if taken frequently so I mix it up with other cheaper varieties.

Tried few strains (mainly red) and this one is the best of them.
My body’s a bit weird, when others feels that they got enough – I start to feel effects. Why? Don’t know, sleeping pills working same way for me.
Had other red vein kratom, for small/medium effects had to take 12-15g, med-high: 15-20, really strong effects:25g+ (needed to focus to walk normal way).
With Bali gold figures are:
Low -5-8g
Med-8-15
Strong- 15+, anything above 20g is a killer. My advice – don’t try to mimic my dosing, know the person who felt unwell after taking 6g!
Helps me with anxiety and eases depressive moods, not killing myself with alcohol thanks to it (never been addicted, but had it to often as stress relief).
Ah, way of consuming it that works for me: take kratom powder, add a bit of water, make a paste of it, roll little balls and swallow helping yourself with a bit of juice. Used to throw up after tea, no stomach problems at all.

Maybe just a bad batch, but having said this is the most expensive Kratom on sale, it was the most disappointing by a long way in all honesty.
Have tried quite a few different types on here, most have been really good. So I thought id pay a little more and get the premium stuff. This was weaker than any of the others i’ve tried. I’m sure this is just a problem with the batch but not great if its being sold as the best quality when in reality this was the least effective.

So I went for the Bali gold, been trying it all week. Because of mental health issues I walk the highlands on a permanent basis. Well I got a stinking cold with headache n backache. Had to walk 14 miles today to get to a resupply point in high winds n rain, no trails or paths straight up and down two mountains passes with 1000m inclines. The Bali Gold got me through 🙂 A very decent Kratom with similarities to Thai Maeng Da Kratom but maybe a little more euphoric n pain killing. More expensive but ok on the 3 for 2 offers. I was curious about this one, given the higher price and testimonials. I really don’t know why but I’ve had a few bad experiences with this strain. It’s strong, yes, and it does what you expect. But, for some reason, I would get terrible angry mood swings on this strain. I’d make sure I’m drinking enough water etc but I still became very moody and annoyed after taking it. I can’t be the only one who has felt this way. This side effect is something I’m more likely to get because of red strains, and especially this strain. Aside from that it’s a great product, I just wish I could enjoy the benefits without wanting to argue with someone or punch walls.

Having tried Kratom before from an EU supplier, that was not at all potent even at high doses, I was pleased to find this UK based website.
As a man of science, Kratom has always interested me due to the unique alkaloid profiles of the different strains.
FS Bali gold arrived as described, a luscious green colour, not a green/brown colour like the Kratom I bought elsewhere.
All I have to say is WOW. It has fantastic analgesic and anxiolytic properties. I had been using oral morphine following surgery, but it constipated me for 5 days, so I got rid of it as at that point a fecal impaction appeared imminent! Thankfully I was able to finally use the toilet after much pushing, sweating and sheer determination to get 5 days worth of excrement out of my system.
I now only use FS Bali gold and Red Sumatra for pain relief. It doesn’t constipate me and its effects come on quicker (in my opinion) than the oral morphine. It is a great mood booster too. I know it is possible to get addicted to this stuff, however I will only be needing to use it temporarily once the pain from my operation finally subsides.
I am so glad to have found a natural alternative that causes less side effects as well as the additional positive effects that come with responsible use of this beautiful plant.
I am unable to take ibuprofen, so this in combination with paracetamol is as good as, if not better, than typically prescribed opiates in terms of pain relief.
Thank you Franz for the work you do, I hope one day to conduct my own research in to the myriad of alkaloids present within this leaf and investigate the synergistic/modulating effects they have on each other.

Well what can i say!. Its perfect, im a huge fan of just the normal bali red, works for me perfectly but this gold one is just like that but 5x the effect i feel, no side effects at all, i have had a horrid week with depression, really gloomy, 2 tea spoons and i feel it washing away.. I buy the samples as i can’t afford the bigger ones just yet, i love buying different ones during the weeks, the samples are perfect for me i buy 4 sometimes 8 at a time, and i put them all together in a nice little tub!, just perfect!… This one would be perfect for people with very bad pains, it feels a lot like codeine, im trying to get my mother onto it but shes pretty nervous about it, ill show her the comments here, shes on codeine for her arthritis, thats is more dangerous than Kratom.. Compared to some other kratoms which I take at night, in the morning the affect wares off & the pain kicks in hard and my body feels drained. This doesn’t happen with Bali gold. I’ve been wanting to try the Bali Gold for some time, but on disability benefits, I can’t afford to spoil myself and the standard Bali works well for me. However, with the Bali out of stock, I decided to give it a whirl and I’m not disappointed – it is probably the best kratom I have had. It is excellent for pain management and anxiety – for me, as good as the Bali and I have reduced my normal dose by 25%, so definitely stronger. No funky taste and the grind is so fine, it is easier to take and kicks in within 20 mins.
I’d also like to thank Franz – the courier messed up, I was running low, and the prospect of going back to opiates seemed inevitable. Franz shipped out another order the same day it was lost, which I received the next day. Disaster averted. Many thanks Franz, very much appreciated.

Review of first order of FS Bali Gold after some advice from this cool guy Franz its was agreed that this strain was proven for assisting with Opiate detoxing. Iv started with small amounts 1.5g first ever Kratom usage. bearing in mind iv been using Heroin and Crack but had really dropped the amounts down to very low levels as im desperate to get clean, It only took 15/20 minutes for the first effects to kick in. slight warm feeling in my stomach and a general relaxion of my whole body, 40/50 minutes after first dose i took another gram as had been advised to build up slowly. I can honestly say the FS Bali Gold has given me a lovely warm slightly floaty feeling very similar to Diazepam and nice opiates. Its not a really heavy hit but its beautiful and for someone with an addiction issue to be able to say i currently have no need or desire to buy hard drugs this is just amazing. I have the Jeruk Kratom to try when needed but the Bali is working perfectly. I had no need to take Bupronorphine today and am incredibly chilled and content. A few weeks ago i was in a very dark hopeless place but this Kratom has changed that. What really needs to be made clear is that its not just the individual that benefits but everyone around them. 10/10 service and many thanks to Franz for the advice. I will be ordering a much larger amount and a White Indo Sample very soon..
Anyone with an opiate issue i can honestly say this FS Bali Gold Will definetly help and even if its £100 plus a month its much cheaper and healthier than £100 a day on Heroin. This stuff could really be a serious game changer for anyone afflicted by opiate addiction and can lead to an opiate free life!

I seem to be a green Malay guy so far but this strain seems to be good for anxiety, relaxation and pain relief, didn’t experience any euphoria but wasn’t looking for that anyway, this is an excellent one to help relax and to just switch it up with now and again to not build up a tolerance… I think I’m gonna try the red Vietnam next. Out of the Green Malay, White Indo Maeng Da and this Id say I felt this the least but still helped a lot hence the still very high albeit slightly less rating than I gave the aforementioned strains. I think we all have our own strains we react to differently but this one still did the job well enough to warrant a high rating and Absolutely fantastic service. Wouldn’t buy anywhere else.

I wanted to re-rate this strain again as I found I had a better dose today, I was talkative and felt positive as well as the other effects already mentioned. Slight muscle twinge being where it was near the scapula was a bit painful and horrible ache, can’t feel it at all!! Coming down with what feels like a cold and I wouldn’t know I had it compared to before I took it, could get on with the rest of what I was doing quite easily. I rate this now as good as the white Indo maeng da but not as good as the green Malay in all around positives but all are worthy of a full 5 stars. I think ten 000 capsules averaging about 0.70 g each if I take the 0.20g for the capsules themselves before they were filled, some I filled where heavier than that some were lighter so not a huge dose but probably a sweet spot, I misjudged the weight of the capsules so although I rated these pretty highly anyway recently I wanna re-rate them as I had rated them just short of 5 stars but they are worthy of a full 5 I think after getting what I think is the right starting point dosage for me to get all the positive effects.

I’ve been using Kratom, exclusively from this supplier for years, 8 years I think.
I’ve gotten something beneficial from every strain and sample.
I’ve managed to remove myself from using pharmaceutical medications, and finding relief from symptoms that otherwise I’d be dependent (physically and mentally) to medications.
Also after suggesting that 5 friends in similar positions just try this….. they now use the products some different strains to me but can manage they’re symptoms naturally.

Best Kratom I’ve ever had.
I was an opioid addict for 20 years, now clean. Kratom has stopped me relapsing and it really helps with my COPD. I have stopped smoking but I have permanently damaged my lungs from smoking and Kratom really helps with the panic/anxiety that goes with it.

This is an update to an earlier review for FS Bali Gold used in conjunction with medically supervised opiate detox, This is what was used and what happened. Approx 0.5 to 1g of Heroin being smoked daily transferred to 8mg Buprenorphine reduction over 7 days. Kratom was started at 1mg Buperonorphine at 2g every 3 to 4 hours. Buperonorphine was stopped at 0.8mg and Kratom increased to 3g every 3 hours. No withdrawals at this point full return of appetite but difficulty sleeping (to be expected) Kratom reduced over 3 or 4 days withdrawals were not severe, Unplesant yes but manageable, no stomach cramps, no restless legs, no bone stretching no vomiting etc. Felt lethargic anxious no where near usual opiate detox levels but this only lasted a couple of days. Appetite returned with a vengeance Sleep retuned to normal within 3 or 4 nights to 7/8 hours. In hindsight and if detoxing at home i would say a 250g bag of FS Bali reduced slower could have made this easier but my timescale was not open ended (thats just my opinion not fact based). Now still opiate free and life has changed beyond belief, Anyone who has experienced Heroin detox using Methadone or Subutex knows it is horrendous with people cracking half way through and relapsing often but Kratom definetly makes a huge difference physically and mentally. And i am amazed that i am now here thinking about what i am going to have for dinner tonight and getting ready to take the dog for a walk (normal stuff) rather than only being able to think about lying cheating stealing to get drugs. Anyone skeptical about Kratom please take my word for it this stuff has huge benefits for people struggling with opiate addiction and others appear to find it useful for just chilling or pain relief whatever. I am incredibly grateful to Franz for getting the Kratom delivered quickly and keeping me informed along the way. Yeah this stuff is 10/10 serious game changer, Sadly big Pharma will not want Kratom freely available and are already starting to discredit/scare tactic Kratom. Hi i have just got back to UK from Indonesia where i spoke with the guys out picking wild Kratom and met a guy who was growing it commercially got to try 4 different strains a white, green and 2 reds. Honestly the fs gold available here is better, weather its the drying process or the tree itself i dont know but if you have found this site your in luck. Dont bother looking elsewhere even the dutch sellers with fancy strains cannot compete with the quality of Franzs kratom. I ordered some FSG so it was here when we got back and compared to Bali prices its not stupidly priced considering everything involved in getting to your door from source. FS Jeruk, white and green Indo any of these from here get the thumbs up from me.

I received my delivery very promptly. I’m very happy with the product it is definitely a gold standard. I’m using Kratom to get off codeine, as I want to manage my detox at home by myself and with privacy. I researched how i could do this and was surprised that the only way to get access to detox drugs is through a doctor or rehab. I value my privacy and empowerment in taking charge of my own recovery and looked into Kratom via other peoples testimonials.
