Meet Jeruk, the latest addition to our variety of kratom strains. What and where is Jeruk Kratom from? Jeruk, translated from Indonesian means orange! The farmers simply named it Jeruk because the vein colour was not quite red. Jeruk kratom is grown organically at one of the KUK locations in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
There is a worldwide misconception when it comes to kratom strains and vein colours. Most users believe the colour of the vein is due to the genetics of the kratom tree, this is just not the case! Think of kratom like a traffic light, the age and maturity of the tree decides the vein colour.
Vein Colour and Approximate Age of Kratom
1-4 Years – Green Vein
4-6 Years – Yellowing from green, moving towards red
6-9 Years – Red or turning to red with distinct dark orange tones.
10-15+ Years – White Vein
Generally speaking, red vein kratom has higher 7-OHM (7-hydroxymitragnine). It is no surprise that a red vein kratom is at the prime of its life. Nature has a way of warning us using colours and red is normally associated with danger, virility or strength. That does not mean a red vein kratom is toxic, it just means it’s at the prime of its life! Grown under the optimum conditions it is packed full of its highly prized alkaloids.
Jeruk (orange kratom) is excellent quality, it is fresh and fragrant to the smell. Jeruk is high in 7-OHM so we already know it’s a good choice for pain and withdrawals from highly addictive drugs. While Jeruk packs a punch for pain, I find it very inspirational but calming at the same time. I feel the calming nature of this strain could be very useful for anxiety or depression.
While Jeruk was harvested when the vein was dark orange, we don’t want to create hype and call it an orange vein. We have simply categorised Jeruk a new and exciting red Indo.
The only drawback with this strain is the amount we currently have in stock, we plan to have more on the next shipment so we will be able to offer larger quantities for better value.

This strain is absolutely marvellous! I am a regular long-term user of Kratom and have tried most of the strains available on this site, but this Jeruk was something else. Incredible for anxiety, relaxing, (I suffer from PTSD & Generalised Anxiety Disorder) yet at the same time giving one a real sense of sharpness and clarity. A real warm buzz, even in small amounts. Pretty stimulating, but with good sedating qualities, you will feel a little more sedation having a couple grams higher dose but it’s pretty much the same high at 1-2g (stimulation dose) and at 3-5g+ (sedation dose) pretty much.
I feel this is a strain you can work out on or chill after a long day. Like what you would expect out of a green. Would definitely recommend. Though hard to sleep on since you feel more stimulated and prone to procrastination…

I’m not a fan of reds because the dosage I need to take is about twice as more as greens or yellow. But this one seems very fresh and potent so I take my usual amount which is like 3-5 grams and it works wonders. It’s definetely would make you very calm and relaxed so dont take it on the day time kids!!

I find it hard to review Kratom as the effect of any one strain can vary so much, but this is indeed a lovely red (or orange). I think it’s as good as the gold. It’s strong without being too heady like the white Indo which is also very strong. I’ve rated it five stars; I’m stating that here because the five star icon was not responding for some reason.

Tried a sample of Jeruk because it’s a new addition and also after reading the other reviews and was not disappointed. Took usual dose 3/4g in tea in the morning (as it was a Sunday lol)
As a fan of FS Bali Gold, House & Greens, I found this almost like a combination of them all. It was great for pain/anxiety relief and at that dose was not too sedating for a daytime. (I wouldn’t have Gold during the day for example!).
Really recommend trying a sample this, a great new addition and you won’t be disappointed! 🙂

I have tried every strain and have to say this is probably the best one I have had. Jeruk is fantastic for making you feel just so mellow. Another superb strain, which I’ve been using daily for 3 months in mornings and afternoons.
Gives great pain relief, and excellent for tackling stress. I can’t decide between this and the Red Indo Maeng Da though – both are strong, and provide similar effects.
Definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re had success with other Red Strains…

Reading reviews i decided to try this strain. I couldn’t synergise with the gold strain though reviews on that strain are positive.
Jeruk is an all singing and dancing strain that packs a strong punch. All kratom.co.uk strains are excellent but this strain felt luxurious and premium. Very relaxing so good for depression and anxiety.
Buy with confidence all strains. Shipment has always been good without issue and customer service has been friendly and with understanding.

In my opinion, and it may be the batch at fault, rather than the strain, Jeruk has little to no effect on me whatsoever. I exchanged the Bali for this, as I felt the Balinese was way too subtle for me, and this strain is just the same, but four times more expensive.
I’m pretty disappointed to say the least.
I really wouldn’t recommend either to anyone sadly. I’ve been taking Kratom for quite some years now, I don’t think I’ve ever been as disheartened with any purchases as this before, which is a massive shame.

Not sure why, but after taking this strain I get severe aching in my kidneys. If I take Bali gold, there is no aching in my kidneys.. very strange but I won’t be repurchasing this strain, Everyone reacts differently to Kratom so do try this strain, it’s very strong. I really need to watch myself with Kratom, I feel the withdrawal badly, reminds me of opiate withdrawal to be honest.

I have been using red vein from KUK for a couple of months now to help me get over Buprenorphine detox after being on it for over 5 years.
This is a good strain, I have to take about 7 G but it works well.; This and the FG Bali Gold are the best strains I have tried so far.
If you are using it to help you get over Bupe you need to wait about 4 days until the Bupe is TOTALLY out your system completely and then it works wonders!

Jeruk Kratom review, This is a really nice and relaxing strain its is quite strong so i have found i dont really need a great deal of it 1.5 grams is plenty at the moment. I find it a bit heavier than the FS Bali Gold which is fantastic. I have had no need to take any opiates and have had no withdrawals at all. I can honestly say to anyone who may be skeptical as to weather Kratom will seriously help with opiate withdrawls that the Kratom supplied by KUK will be a real game changer. The Jeruk Kratom effects are very similar to those of opiates, Warm floaty content and a feeling of complete bliss.
Highly recommend trying this strain as i will certianly be buying more when needed. 10/10 service from Franz as have been with all orders so far.

Been using KUK’s products for about 9 months now and learned to appreciate the subtleties of the various strains. My main reason for use is to subdue inflammation/Soreness pertaining to my long distance running and also a kick of motivation for the same.
Hadn’t tried Jeruk until just now but decided to try approx 5g mixed with 2tsp of ACV to expedite the alkaloid effect and 2tsp of maple syrup to mask the repugnant taste!
Well, I usually have a measured response to most doses of Krat but this strain literally stopped me in my tracks! Very potent painkilling properties and a light headed almost drunk like feeling for a few hours afterwards. Quite amazing, wasn’t expecting that.
Very pleased I tried this strain, will be keeping it for when I need a proper chill out after a marathon training session.

Really good quality Kratom this orange one, I have been using Kratom for a while now and this one is fantastic with not a huge amount needed. Report of my first use of Jeruk.
I put it 7g of Jeruk in a shaker cup/bottle, then I add about 50ml of water that I’ve boiled and then cooled until it’s just warm, shake it up. Then drink it.
Within 5-10 minutes I’m calmer, not sleepy, just less of the anxiety I chronically experience.
My temperature seems to stabilise…. which pleasantly surprised me! Not hot, not cold… just right!
Further calming….
I put on a podcast and I’m far more engaged with it, nothing like stimulation, just engaged and interested.
20 minutes……
I have alot of physical pain from years of skateboarding, the areas where I’m most bothered are noticeably relieved, this is a very good feature of this strain.
30 minutes…..
I’m now writing a birthday card for my niece, and it feels as though my cognition and ability to articulate my message to her has improved. Again, not stimulated, rather relaxed, but engaged.
I rate this strain REALLY highly.
I wanna add that I have ALOT of experience with detoxing from Opiate/Opiods and I get the feeling that this could really help someone going through it….. ofcourse be responsible etc

I’ve been with kuk for years. The service is second to non. Usually I go for cheaper brands but thought I’d try Jeruk. Very smooth, good strength and length of relief, unlike cheaper ones there’s no gritty residue. Due to expense I’m trying to reduce so to have this strain I can reduce times per day. Franz is always on the ball with next day delivery.
